2.2Structure and working principle

The working principle of PWST intelligent linear electric actuator is as shown on figure 2. It adopts single MCU and peripheral chips to form the intelligent control unit and receives standard 4-20mA direct current signal (or stroke-dividing signal, voltage signal). The signal will be sent to MCU after being processed and A/D converted. MCU will then send the processed data to LCD display for adjusting result. Control signal created from arithmetic processing will drive the permanent magnet synchronous motor, which will drive the movement of transmission silk pole after changing speed. That will produce mechanical stroke, which will give feedback to MCU after position measurement to carry out data processing and finally complete the action of corresponding relation between “signal and position”.

In addition, the system also has a communication function, the host computer can receive commands via remote digital control. It operates on the intelligent controller panel menus and buttons may also be implemented by local control. The system also has a faulty alarm and independent 4-20mA analogue position feedback output.
